The Heart Rhythm Society, founded in 1979, has a membership of more than 5,400 physicians and associated professionals from more than 70 countries worldwide. The Society is the international leader in science, education and advocacy for cardiac arrhythmia professionals and patients and the primary information resource on heart rhythm disorders. Its mission is to improve the care of patients by promoting research, education and optimal health care policies and standards.
San Francisco, CA proved to be a desirable destination for nearly 8,500 scientific attendees and over 13,000 overall attendees when attending Heart Rhythm 2011. Heart Rhythm 2012 will be held in Boston, MA on May 9-12 and is expected to attract 9,000 professionals.
