The Heart Rhythm Society, founded in 1979, has a membership of more than 5,200 physicians and associated professionals from the United States, Canada, Mexico and many other countries. The Heart Rhythm Society is the dominant professional group representing the allied specialties of cardiac pacing and cardiac electrophysiology and plays an important role not only in education, but also as an intermediary between government regulatory agencies and members of the profession.
Heart Rhythm 2010 held in Denver, Colorado proved a desirable destination for nearly 8,500 scientific attendees and over 12,000 overall attendees. Heart Rhythm 2011 will be held in San Francisco, California and is expected to attract 9,000 professionals.
